My Blog: How and Why

img_0553.jpg

Choosing to start a blog was an easy decision. I’ve actually thought about it for a long without ever mentioning it to anyone. I didn’t want to say anything and never pursue it or just be another one of those things that get pushed off to the side. In being busy with life, things like this don’t become reality because everything takes over like kids and work.

But choosing to start a blog didn’t mean that it would be easy or happen overnight. I honestly didn’t know where to start or what it would even entail. Once I decided I wanted to pursue and explore my secret desire to be a blogger, it meant that I would spend a great deal of time figuring out how it would all work and become something functional and something people would want to read.

Initially I wasn’t concerned if people wanted to read my blog posts, but now I really love the feedback and have more people following what I’m writing. And that is so awesome! Sure it’s just the beginning of reaching out to people, but for now, each follower and person who chooses to follow my blogging journey is such a blessing. It’s a blessing because I get to share my journey and input of life with you!

Even more, I wanted a platform where I would be able to create opportunities for myself with thoughtful writing and continuous learning. Through my blog, I am able to express myself through writing in any manner I choose, but mostly through all the things that I love and am passionate about.

For now, blogging is my hobby. As much as I would love for it to be a business, between a full-time job, being a graduate student, a mom, and wife, it will stay as such, at least for a little bit longer. But soon enough, I will be able to post my writing on life experiences and keep you all up to date even more! Because, in the end, this is why I started my blog in the first place!

Be Well,

Kassandra
